    its not that good of an album, so of course it lacks replay value

    too many pop songs, bro. and its not even put together that well as far as ordering, especially compared to his previous 2 major releases.

    i can't believe you actually think d--- is better than GKMC. :emoji_scream_cat:

    I absolutely hate this word, should be buried right next to "Real Rap"

    To answer the question, no. d--- still fascinates me whether it's an individual song or a full length revisit. I do think I won't be as nostalgic of this album like I was for his earlier work as funny as it sounds.

    Yeah @TimmyT there's nothing pop on it besides Loyalty. GKMC was way more radio friendly than this lol

    love is a very poppy song. besides that, the lyrics on d--- aren't nearly as good as GKMC. plus, the way good kid is structured is amazing. d--- has the feeling of just a bunch of songs put together in a random order. d--- is clearly one of kendricks weakest projects yet

    i got into this album a few weeks later than everyone else so i probably havent heard it or delved into it as much as some people, but ive probably played this close to 20 times and im not really sick (?) of it yet, im just liking some songs more and im liking some songs less with more listens, and this is the first kendrick album i like

    but the physical cd is missing so many parts i love that were on spotify so f--- this album and f--- kendrick

    Some people maybe. That is going way too far though. I loved it at first, and when I listen to it now I still like it.

    But the question is the replay value and I don't find myself wanting to listen to it very often so yeah it kinda lacks replay value, to me.

    @TimmyT what pop songs lol

    TPAB had GREAT replay value, I used to bump that daily for at least 2-3 months after it came out. Maybe more give or take. I already stopped playing d---. though. Hardly in rotation. Still a good album though.

    I don't need every album to be as consistently rewarding as something like an Aesop Rock project. d---. is both immediately gratifying and hard to grapple with. If I put on DNA right now, I'd prob finish the whole album. I'm not playing it to death, but I rarely play things to death anyway.
