    I guess a few years back. Before that I wasn't too happy with but with my friends and family's support I was able to see life in a more lighter note and just take each day as it comes.

    Yeah I guess I mistook content for happiness.

    You can be happy without being content and I think that's what I am at the moment.

    It's probably in some ways not good to be content with your life because then you'll have no drive.

    I use to be content with my life until I was about 20. 4 years later and now I really don't know. I go through little bits of times when I'm content with my current life and what I have going on, but overall, I just feel isolated, and depressed. Not sure if that'll ever change

    Nah, I don't think you're ever content. When you're a kid you just want to grow up so you can drive and have no one boss you around.

    When you're at the age you can drive, you're not content because you want to get out of your house and go to college.

    When you're in college you're not content because you hate homework and are constantly broke and can't wait to graduate and get a real job and start making money.

    When you start making real money with a real job you wish you were younger again or were closer to retirement....

    and I'm betting once you hit retirement it's not as fun as it sounds unless you're seriously rich and you just patiently wait for death with some fun viagra nights along the way


    this is my advice to you guys still in college or younger

    i likely won't be content until the age of retirement. there's always something i'm trying to change/improve tbh. not sure if that'll ever end. i'm okay with it -- it keeps me going.

    Life changes all the time. You'll never be content all the time.

    I lived my life up for a good 5 years but now I'm under a lot of stress and pressure at work.

    I interpret content as "yeah whatever, could be better could be worst" - happiness though, that's a whole kettle of fish imo.
