Dude.
LISTEN.
IT. IS. A. FORUM.
You don't know these people. They don't know you. They're 500x500 icons on a computer screen, just stop giving them the satisfaction of s--- like this.
You've gotta take everything with a grain of salt. I used to get all bothered by autistic jokes, but I realized that, at the end of the day, I don't really know these people IRL and what they say has no real lasting impact on my life.
So every time someone online says to me, "You're a f---ing gay fa----"
I say "It's only gay if you make it, sweetie." or better yet, I f---ing ignore it.
Seriously. Nobody cares if you don't.

Just put more time into being productive with your music or whatever you do to express yourself. Go outside for walks and stop worrying about people. The first thing you need to do before you can ever have solid relationships with others is to fully appreciate and be comfortable with yourself. Don't ever look to others for validation because at the end of the day you're the only person who's going to be there to look after yourself, no one will be there to pick you up when you fall so learn to depend on nobody but yourself and you'll see how effortlessly things in life start coming to you.lasiiik, Cyreides, Ordinary Joel and 4 others like this. -

@tpk if life is bothering you that much I'd recommend talking to a doctor about it.
Otherwise like others suggested, find new interests/hobbies, make a goal(short or long term, or both) and stay focused on that.

I believe that there's two types of criticism. constructive critcism and destructive criticism. constructive criticism pin points exactly what might be wrong with your original music and it usually gives you helpful tips and advice as to what kind of improvements you could make to your original music to fix the problems you might have and make your music better. A lot of people don't know how to give out that type of criticism (especially when it comes to music) so they either voice their honest opinion about it or they lie to you. and they're is a huge difference between doing that and flat out telling someone their music's garbage for the purpose of making them feel like s---, which is totally unacceptable to me. and it's good to keep in mind that music has been, and always will be subjective. just because someone thinks your music sucks doesn't everybody else will, but it takes a lot of maturity on the artists part to take negative criticism with a grain of salt and ask the questions "what's wrong with my music and what improvements do I need to make on it to make it better"?" but that doesn't take away from the fact that they still might get hurt by it (and it's really up to them as to whether they wanna listen to that kind of criticism or let it go through one ear and right out the other and continue to do what they love to do).lasiiik, Flacko, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

You may have a disability but you have talent. I'll be honest I never gave a s--- about your rapping so I kept my thoughts to myself. Your producing on the other hand has potential.
Perhaps go seek a job or volunteer your time as well. It'll keep you busy. Find a hobby. Something you truly enjoy.
And most of all, don't take forums too seriously.lil uzi vert stan, Deadpool, Loyalty and 2 others like this. -

i rly dunno what to say here, i'm not good at comforting others or giving advice or anything like that
so i'll just say this:
don't worry about other people, don't take their opinions seriously (and ffs, this is an internet forum full of people you'll never meet man, who gives a s--- what i or anyone else on here thinks about you/your music/life etc.). just let it all go and do whatever makes u happyLil Squeed, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl, Ordinary Joel and 1 other person like this. -

But, to be real, @Autistic Meme you need to find other outlets. I don't think social media and forums are necessarily bad, but they shouldn't be what you put everything into.
With your mental health issues, the internet isn't really an ideal place for you. It's vicious and unforgiving.
Do I think you're awkward and weird? Yeah, kinda, but I've seen worse on forums. However, I do think you're a genuinely good dude and there's definitely hope for you moving forward.
Even though I'm not a fan of your music, I do respect the fact that you're brave enough to do it. I think you have a lot to improve on if you're serious about pursuing it though.
Music is tough. I've been doing it for a really long time (over 15 years) and it's still a b----, and I don't even have autism lol. I never put it on forums because it's rare you're ever going to get constructive criticism, advice or help.
Having 2 friends and a girlfriend, socially, is a pretty solid foundation, IDK about your family situation, but work on that too. Work on those things. Especially more than a forum or social media. You'll find yourself happier.
I also think you need to get in contact with a doctor.lil uzi vert stan, Deadpool, Loyalty and 1 other person like this. -
