    Maybe because his solo albums have been trash since 2003? Last Jay album I somewhat enjoyed was American Gangster. I have low expectations for both, I was hyped for MCHG, d--- 2013 such a general let down lol

    I've been meh on Jay's recent features, they came and went for me.

    That being said...a new Jay album is always exciting, but could go either way. He put out two classics (American Gangster and Watch the Throne) after two flops (Kingdom Come and Blueprint III) so I'm not gonna count my chickens before they hatch.

    Magna Carta is not a great album, but I think it gets a bad rap. It has a handful of great songs.
