Jun 19, 2017Eminem switched his style and sound up from album to album. Since each is so different its difficult to tell which songs are older or newer, and nothing really sounds like a leftover from a previous album, but you can still hear the transition
So which songs would fit or sounds most like it was recorded around the album before It?
SSLP -
"Rock Bottom" most like an infinite track - From its serious content, to the non-stop multisyllable rhyming
"Role Model" - most like a MMLP track, got the dark beat, prod by Dre, and em uses that angry double layered vocal that he used a lot on MMLP on the hook
MMLP -
"Under The Influence" sounds most like SSLP, no mention of anything about game or recent events, the rhymes cartoonist
"The Way I Am" most like The Eminem Show. More focused on delivery to the sound of the beat and personal life content.
TES -
"Sing For The Moment" amped angry high pitch and very multilayered like MMLP, the dark guitars. Most like MMLP
"My Dads Gone Crazy" - boppy repetitive Dre beat, weird drum pattern, lazier sounding Em flow, silly content (outside most of 3rd verse). Most like Encore.
Encore -
"Never Enough" rapid fire, multisyllable through most the verse about personal content most like Eminem Show
"Big Weenie" - Dark bouncy Dre beat, Eminem using a high pitched weird voice, a little like "Must be The Ganja" most like Relapse
Relapse -
"Beautiful" lazy sounding flow, personal song but rhyming isn't great, self produced w a sample like a few Encore tracks. Most like Encore.
"Underground" a lot of punchlines, no accent just a more aggressive voice
Recovery -
"White Trash Party" most like Relapse, upbeat without the pop radio beat, drug talk, hear an accent slip a few times to make syllable rhymes work
"Won't Back Down" most like MMLP2, s--- mixing, punchlines, rock influence
MMLP2 -
"Survival" is most like Recovery, singer on the hook like 25 to life, love the way u lie, almost famous, won't back down. A lot of punchlines and yelling delivery
"So Far" is most like his new music, a lot of rhyming for the sake of rhyming
