I actually had a stab at making that original sample Hailies Song track a few years ago... its not brilliant but it gives us an idea of how it was meant to sound.

I used the multi track to the original, using Claptons guitar, mccartneys bass etc. Im guessing its what Em would have used in his version, unless he had his studio guys remake it.. dunno.

# That Dear Ronnie song
# Hailie's Song with the original Beatles sample
And any tracks cut from MMLP 1, think they were called 'Violence', 'Jimmy Brian & Mike' and another called 'Mom' IIRC?

Over the years I've at times randomly talked with this dude named Jim who's in Eminem's "circle of friends" (neighbor / they grew up together), and whenever I asked him his favorite Em songs he always told me the unreleased ones

I picked his brain about them; he said usually sampling issues led to them not being released.

"Hailie's Song" original version, he told me, was in his Top 3, along with I believe "Dear Ronnie" (or whatever the Ronnie song is called)

He also said that in general, Em keeps his "most personal" records "to himself" (i.e. does not release to public); those are the overall best according to him

My dude Joe Budden verified to me that Jim is real, plus Jim's given me tickets to stuff like SNC'04 + RelapseReleaseParty'09 etc. Budden was surprised I knew of Jim ("How do you know that" were his initial words when I brought the name up lol)

Some years ago I saw an interview of someone claiming that one day in the early 2000's he was at Em's studio and Em played a song and that song was the best he ever heard from him but it was never released.
