Jul 20, 2017 Sorry for the triple post but what's the back story with omega and ibushi? @Changeling do you know?
Jul 20, 2017 Obviously that pile driver was an incredibly dangerous worked move but I really thought he was hurt after being launched into the corner
Jul 20, 2017 They are best friends and former tag team partners in the DDT promotion Two guys that literally k--- theirselves and haven't had a singles match in 5 years Last time they did it was incredible
Jul 20, 2017 OK that's pretty much what I read for myself but reddit hinted at something more After watching day 1 I can't wait till I can watch the day 2. Im pretty f---ing amped, I haven't felt this way about wrestling in over a decade
Jul 20, 2017 Have you looked any more into subscribing to NJPW world? Sure it doesn't match the size of WWE's library and doesn't have original shows and archived Raws and such, but I've used it a ton more than wwe network since signing up
Jul 20, 2017 I'm probably going to get it. My main issue is not having time to dedicate to watching much tv. I stay home with my kids and my youngest is 5 months old. Its hard to find time sometimes to watch hours upon hours of TV without neglecting house work
Jul 20, 2017 I have been thinking about it off and on for a few months though. Im gonna see how this g1 thing goes and if I can keep up with it I'm probably gonna give in and sign up. How do the shows normally work outside of the g1? Is it like monthly ppvs? How many shows normally go on? I know they don't do weekly shows like wwe
Jul 20, 2017 Once everything slows down and I have the funds I'm for sure subbing to NJPW World, I hate pirating their events. I'm getting a 65 cent raise starting next week and a potential second job so hopefully things start looking up soon
Jul 20, 2017 It's not often I feel bad about pirating stuff but this is an exception. I haven't been into wrestling in over a decade so I've been slow to decide how much I want to invest my time and energy into watching it but I've found absolutely no reas on not to trust in njpw with everything I've seen so far
Jul 20, 2017 Here's an example of the 2017 schedule that came out months ago This follows Wrestle Kingdom which happens January 4th And there are 'road to shows' basicaly leading up to every one of these events with filler matches
Jul 20, 2017 @Raziel notice it's pretty consistent monthly but shows like New Japan Cup and Best of Super Jr take place in tournament format over the course of several days and in G1 case, a month That's not represented in the schedule
Jul 20, 2017 Everyone is praying for Kenny vs Ibushi but I don't see it happening considering Kenny won last year and Ibushi is a free agent I think Naito will win and main event WK which he deserves
Jul 20, 2017 I like Naito, without knowing anything about him he won me over the first time I saw him at the g1 special. I wouldnt mind naito, ibushi, or nagata, he looked legit scary when he was striking yoshi-hashi
Jul 20, 2017 Nagata is a long time NJPW veteran. This is actually going to be his final G1-- he's won the event before. If you're already hooked on Naito I recommend you look into his character evolution in njpw...he has the most fleshed out gimmick in the entire promotion
Jul 20, 2017 The only problem I'd have with naito beating Okada is that he seems less important than the rivalry between Okada and omega
