Jul 25, 2017 The way Suzuki was beating juice Robinson's a--- on night 5 I had a feeling they'd be having a singles match on day 6. With the exception of couple of the tag matches I think it would be nice if they cut them from the tournament in terms of quality of the matches as the tournament goes on and also to preserve and limit the wear and tear on the challengers. Other than a few moments of story telling in night 5 with juice and Suzuki the matches were sloppy and pointless imo. If they insisted on keeping the matches to showcase other wrestlers utilize your young lions and guys not competing in the g1
Jul 25, 2017 Well they do get some young lions in on the action which I think is good tbh As far as the tags tho think of it like this, yeah it's the G1 but it's also a legitimate tour around Japan and how lame would it be if your stop didn't have Okada on it because he's resting....so they gotta have the tag matches so everyone advertised is on the show
Jul 25, 2017 Speaking of Young lions @Changeling, I heard one of the announcers mention in one of the tag matches that they had limited movesets but were allowed to strike their opponents. What did he mean by that? Do they not know any moves or do they have to earn them or something? Or is it more along the lines of initiation where they just get their a----s handed to them?

Jul 25, 2017 I read about it on Wikipedia. They can only really do basic manuevers until they've proven themselves from what i understood. Someone should tell David Finlay that it's ok to start acting like a graduate and not so much like a beginner. I swear every time I see that dude I throw up a little in my mouth. He annoys me so much, literally everyone of his matches had been the same sequence of moves. I seen him do some kind of sto/neckbreaker over his knee once so far in the g1
