Jan 5, 2018 Switchblade was offered a spot in BC but rejected the offer. Also, Cody wanted to finish Ibushi but Omega made a save, thus continuing the build to the eventual Omega vs Rhodes match.
Jan 5, 2018 I think Jericho will have a better wrestling match with Naito. Naito style will better suit Chris imo
Jan 5, 2018 Jay is one of my favorites. There's a certain type of match you're gonna have with an injured Tanahashi, he hasn't gotten the opportunity in New Japan to do half of what he's done in ROH. He killed it last year and Omega is the best match he could have right now (aside from Ospreay again) to showcase his style. Once he has more heat with the crowd and they learn who he is as a worker and character, he'll be fine. Kills me to see him hit his finisher and not have the crowd care one bit. He just needs time, trust in Gedo.
Jan 5, 2018 I don't understand the slander Juice gets from @Big Dangerous...fuckboy....lol anywho I was a little confused at the Jay white match up with tanahashi, the build up was out of the blue with me and I was curious why it was this random challenger instead of aomeone a little more high profile
Jan 5, 2018 They're very high in Jay white, for his first two matches back be title programs with Tanahashi and omega
Jan 5, 2018 Juice is just kind of a guy right now, very much works an American style and nothing about him really stands out. Took a big step up with this years G1, great babyface underdog with his selling and emoting. I'm not one to clamor for cooler moves, but I was watching him do the shake/rattle/roll punches three times in a row at WK and just shook my head. He needs to show that he can have a great performance of his own without other, better guys working matches around his strengths. The Omega matches were so good because they had the built in story of Omega not taking him seriously by being so far above his level. He needs to step up if he ever wants to be more than that scrappy underdog.
Jan 5, 2018 I randomly saw on here you guys mentioned Jericho vs Omega and had to watch it and luckily found a full match on YouTube. That was one of my favorite wrestling matches in a while (maybe years, needs more time to settle in.) The match gave me a WWF attitude era vibe. I knew Jericho was stilll capable of a classic match. He took good care of his body as he aged and still looks good and healthy. I wish we would have gotten that Brock vs Jericho match. Jericho and Heyman promos would have been entertaining. I’ve mentioned before he’s one of my all time favorites and I was still watching the wwe some whenever Jericho was appearing every week. I haven’t watched Wwe since around Wrestlemania and I did check out Brock vs Braun and Joe. Not raw in general. I saw someone mention Cena vs Taker and that doesnt even interest me. And that’s sad because Taker use to be my favorite wrestler. His streak was ruined after losing to Reigns. Wwe needs more guys like Jericho. Hopefully after this year with Fozzy Jericho will go on another full time run.
