I think 2001 when I was 11. My friend burned me The Blurpeint and MMLP and I played the s--- out of them on my CD Walkman. Holy s--- I feel old...I remember kids on my baseball team signing My Name Is and I had no idea what it was.

2007 in my dad's car....i was like 10 and he had CD/Video Player in his car and he had a CD with hip-hop tracks, the 1st song of Eminem on this CD was My Name Is, i couldn't understand most of the s--- he was sayin (since English isn't my foreign language) but there was something to him that completely made me want to get into his music more, after that Guilty Conscience came on and i was laughing my a--- off with Em's reactions on his last verse....but that's the story on how I started listening to him

2007-2008 or so, my dad had one CD with the greatest hits of 2000's, There were 2 songs by Eminem from MMLP, "The Real Slim Shady" and "Stan", i didn't know who was and i didn't become in one of his greatest fans at that point, later in 2010 when he released Recovery, Not Afraid and Love the Way you lie were on everywhere, but again, i didn't know who was and i didn't become in one of his greatest fans at that point, then in 2013 i was watching the TV and i saw the CoD: Ghost multiplayer commercial with Survival in the background, it was so f---ing powerful for me, so I started to search the song on Internet and I found that the author was Eminem and that he was releasing MMLP2, i had curiosity so i started to watch all his videos first, and i realized that all the songs that i was hearing through the years were Eminem's songs, I started to completely hear one of the greatest rappers of all time so late, and now the same s--- is happening me with Kendrick Lamar in 2017 with his last album d---. but before its release i was hearing To p---- a Butterfly full album + Good Kid Mad City in my phone all day for enjoy his art and know who is he. At the moment my favorite Eminem album is The Eminem Show and my favorite Kendrick album is To p---- a Butterfly or d---, i don't know yet xD.

when I first heard not afraid on radio. he truly felt like a one of a kind artist on the first listen itself. then I looked up him on internet, found recovery, got obsessed with it and never looked back ever since.

I remember my brother talking about his drug addiction in the mid 2000s and then as I got older I remember how excited he was to downloading relapse. I looked up his music and got hooked

1999 in 6th Grade I heard "My Name Is" at a friend's house. I thought it was a funny song and it was some s--- we were probably not "supposed to" listen to. I thought Eminem was black til I actively started listening to him.

In 7th grade every kid was singing The Real Slim Shady chorus.. it wasn't til 8th grade til I really got into Eminem. It was "Criminal" that got me hooked. From there I downloaded all of his songs on Napster... SSLP, MMLP, Chronic 2001, unreleased music like the Everlast disses, Make You Mad, If I Get Locked Up etc

This also lead me to being a fan of Xzibit, DMX, Dre, Snoop etc

Later I then bought MMLP and SSLP. (Devils Night was one of the first CD's I bought too)

3 weeks ago :P. The 1st song I heard of Eminem was 'without me'. I was just a kid then but I remember liking the beat and flow of the song.(didn't know what flow was ofc) I never really listened to music and when I did it was mostly pop. A month ago I came across Rap God and I was impressed with the fast part. I started looking for his other songs on YouTube. I didn't understand why he had so little views compared to other artists so I started listening to all of his songs. I absolute hated love the way you lie and not afraid(heard these songs a few times on the radio before) because they sounded like pop music and he was supposed to make rap music. Then I listened to the way I am and Stan and I fell in love with his music and. I have listened to his albums twice now.

I also used to think Relapse was absolute trash and Recovery was somewhat decent. Relapse has grown on me the last few days while Recovery sounds awful now. I also think TES is overrated and nowhere near the level of SSLP and MMLP

2009 when i listened for first time "beautiful".
At that time I was in rehabilitation for a deep depression that led me to lose two years of school.
I remember in 2010 the first week that I returned to my normal life "not afraid" came out, it was like a anthem for me.
Eminem music helped me a lot in those years

I remember listening to Mmlp and Es religiously with my cousin in his, 2000 red turboed gti. Without me and cleaning out my closet were my favorite songs. Of course heard em around but I wasnt really hip hop fan. Then we he came back with recovery I listened often, still not a huge fan though I was into punk rock at the time. Freshmen year I was f---ing with my girlfriend ( funny enough her name is actually Kim. Been together for 5 years) and posting music she hated on her Facebook wall. She hated rap and the only rap I kinda knew was Eminem. Started listening and said hey this s--- kinda good. Then I listened to his entire portfolio everyday and now I'm a huge hip-hop /Eminem fan. Long story for a boring one sorry lmfao
