    Interesting marketing approach they got with some of this 'become jigsaw' stuff on the site and poster lol.

    Heard a theory that Ryan from the opening trap in saw 7 may be one of the people in the buckets, also heard Hoffman'a name mentioned but pretty sure he's not in it.

    35 please keep spoilers and hints to a minimum lol, I don't wanna know much tbh but still fun to speculate and throw theories out there.

    I really need to re-watch all of them. Not even sure if I finished the series lol

    Great films but this will be the first time I will watch one in the cinema. Will be cool as f---

    I'm a little worried bout the idea of keeping this one lighter, I'm fine if that meant less brutal violence or whatever but unfortunately I'm pretty sure it means some humor in there..I don't mind some, but it could make some scenes less tense, hopefully it doesn't have a negative impact. Plus the music in the trailer is odd too.

    35, this any cause for concern or am I overreacting? Maybe the humor works just fine.

    Humor should be fine so long as they don't go meta. This can't be Scream where we just make fun of the type of film it is and pretend we're smarter for it.

    I would rather avoid the humour altogether if I’m honest, I could imagine it taking away some aspects of the grittiness of the film

    I trust that they’ve made it work though

    The humour worked well in the first movie with Adam

    If I remember right, we had classic lines like "my name is very f---ing confused, what's your name?" And "I don't care if you covered yourself in peanut butter and had a 15 hooker g--- b---"

    That was character comedy that reflected the situation, it was never not serious. Leigh was a snarky, young, voyeuristic douchebag in that movie, it really helped the dynamic between him and Gordon.

    The real comedy was Danny Glover turning into a loony hermit after his partner was killed. Laughed my a--- off on this viewing, everything they did with him was atrocious.

    Tbh I hated Adam's 'comedy' or whatever you wanna call it from the opening scene.

    But as long as this new movie doesn't have it all over the place I'll be fine, I don't mind a few lines here and there meant to lighten the mood.

    A got a re-watch in a few days back and he acts like that through the entire movie. It's only the few lines at the beginning where it's a bit over the top.

    Gonna quit reading so many theories online cuz i'm probably already ruining s--- for myself that's gonna happen in the movie.

    I read some theories that really made a lot of sense and I feel like could come true, so gotta stop reading these things lol.

    Yeah I stopped reading the theories and probably won't even watch a new trailer at this point if there is one lol...it'd be tough to avoid a red band but I'd try..

    I'm off Thursdays so probably gonna see it right away when they have the 2 Thursday showings here the day before release. I don't want the ending ruined for me before I watch it lol...had that happen for saw 7 unfortunately, was my own fault though.
