    I dont know what it is...but something in my gut tells me this album is going to be highly praised in the future.

    Worst song on Daytona is better than the best song on this. By far the worst Kanye album.

    Yeah every Ye album since 808's with the exception of MBDTF has had the same response.

    Several people immediately calling it the worst Ye album, and then calling it an amazing influential album several years later.

    Happened with 808's, Yeezus, TLOP and now this

    Don't believe this was the case with TLOP from my memory. Not a lot of people flipped to the positive years later, if anything people diss it more now.

    Go to KTT and you'll see a bunch a threads dedicated to Pablo's "greatness" when they slandered it upon release. Publications have gassed that album's legacy up as well. Still considered the universal "worst" though, and still remains my least favorite Ye album ever.


    Critics loved Yeezus when it dropped, and although it still isn't as well received as MBDTF, alot more people have come around to it. Like Radiohead fans did with "Kid A" years later.

    Kanye clearly wanted to make the opposite of TLOP.
    If TLOP was long, sprawling, and messy, this was supposed to be lean, short, and focused. But he clearly has the most of the same creative tendencies that he had on Pablo, so you wind up with tracks that morph and switch multiple times throughout. It's an album full of songs composed much like Pt. 2, with different pieces and parts thrown together. But it manages to work more often than not.

    Jesus. My first day of listening to Yeezus didn't stump me this hard.
