    I don't think very much of Republicans who call themselves Libertarians.

    I think they think calling themselves that makes them noble some how.


    I'm sure the goverment is far less in my life than theirs and I'm more than happy to help out with my taxes to make society run better with people who need it.


    I always think about how Ayn Rand died cashing Social Security checks to know that they are all phonies.

    Any movement that's lighting cars on fire and smashing restaurant windows isn't helpful to anyone, but I don't know a lot of specifics about them beyond that if I'm being honest. Anti-fascism is certainly a more noble cause than white nationalism at the very least, but I don't think ends necessarily justify means.

    I mean, I can see why people are hesitant to support an anonymous assembly that regularly destroys property, but it's definitely in the name of protecting people. The antifa participants don't even share the same ideologies most of the time. They only organize in response. We live in a country where our president won't even rebuke terrorism carried out by white extremists when it claims lives. If you advocate violence, I don't have pity when you're subject to it. These are groups which want to ethnically cleanse the United States. The commentariat have and continue to normalize their beliefs. Antifa is necessary.

    In the grand scheme of things the Alt-Right is a double edge sword.

    They ended the Conservative Movement when they pushed an incompetent racist NYC liberal past Ted Cruz for the Republican Nomination.

    The fact that Trump is now President makes America incredibly weak and overall hurts our country in ways that historians will be able to fill volumes.

    On the other hand a President Cruz or even a President HRC with a narrowly defeated Cruz in Senate would have made the Conservative cause very powerful. Now we have Republicans who live as liberals and only pull the (R) lever because they think it's a cool thing to do and racist cultist who embarrass themselves by defending a dumb senile old man everyday.
