    It's true. I think Best Friend and Medicine Man fall under this category.
    He built a career off being angry and proving himself...so...yeah.

    Seriously, i just realised that.

    Just take a look at songs like No Love, Forever and Drop The World.

    He killed those songs. The flow was incredible and the verses were just dope af. His parts were definitely the highlight of those songs. Not something i would say about his verses these days...

    We've heard Eminem saying how angry, jealous or whatever he was at Wayne, Kanye and s--- while he was on hiatus.

    I feel like when the time came and he was ready for a collab he just felt the need to prove he was the best, And fire verses came from that.

    It's a bit similar to how we got The Warning. He was angry and wanted to prove himself. he even lost his f---in accent and came out with dope verses we hadn't heard in years.

    So this is it, the answer to get good Eminem verses. Or maybe i'm just drinking too much.

    Agreed. It's why I think the TES/50 Cent/Green Lantern phase is the peak eminem. Even if he's lying about shooting guns and f---ing people up, the passion is there supported by insane lyrics and GOAT flow. Nothing will ever change my opinion on this.

    This several year run is up there with Biggie's short lived reign where every single verse was must hear music. In my opinion, nothing will top Biggie's 3 year run. But Em's 3 year run during this period is a close 2nd.

    I know many (most?) of the people don't agree. I don't know, maybe you had to live through the Rawkus and SSLP days and then experience the Marshall Mathers LP pop culture domination to truly appreciate the 50 Cent/Green Lantern era?

    Edit: I still listen to this s--- regularly haha
