    They're more an emphasis if anything now. Maybe in real early language times I could understand it but now they've been watered down so much into just nothing.

    Normally because swear/curse words are meant to be offensive to the person they're using it towards.

    I would say if anything, using swear words could be a major sign of frustration and impatience.
