Here’s some quick live thoughts from being there...I meant to post them yesterday but got busy. @WrestlingBros
The tag title match was f---ing awesome...the crowd got distracted half way through tho because Desiigner had just gotten there and was walking to his seat with his entourage waiving to the crowd and so everyone was looking at him lol But man as soon as Cesaro hit the post it was clear something was wrong. The ringside dr was right in front of me and told him to come down off the tag corner and Cesaro refused at first and said he was fine but then the Dr pointed to his ear pierce as if to say No get down here they’re making me check on you lol At point he wiped his mouth with a white towel off camera and it was drenched in blood
The Cena/Roman match was a little disappointing as far as match quality but obviously it was dope just cuz of it was loud as f--- in the area for the whole thing. Probably the most electric atmosphere I’ve ever been live for...maybe tied with when Jericho won the Undisputed title in San Diego in 2001. But half the crowd was cheering for Cena, half the crowd was booing Cena, and 100% of the crowd was booing Roman lol Idk if it was audible during the broadcast but my section started getting a “You both s---” and a “f--- you Roman” chant going lol
The Brock/Braun match was such a letdown. The crowd was a lil burnt out from the Cena match and the weird a--- CW match but the main reason the crowd were so quit during the main event is because the match was barley starting to get going it just ended. Everyone was like wtf, that’s it?? It was a short match snd half of it was rest holds...it was weird. They had the announce table that Cena went through put back together so everyone was sure Braun was going to use it but nope Lesner ended it with only one F-5.
