Why do people want politics in their rap music?

    Like man go read a d--- article by an expert or something looool and why do people expect rappers to know about politics they're artists like what go watch a youtube video then go listen to music you do not need both at the same time. stop.

    what can a rapper even say thats poignant like "hey dude donald trump doesnt speak for me man, hey politicians you all s---!!!" its always the most surface level s--- go read a book THEN go listen to music

    because they were angsty diy people that hated the government plus they were yelling

    rappers talking about socio political stuff is just so shoehorned like who tf cares about what xxxtentacion thinks about anything that isnt stabbing a teenager or shapeshifting into a demon
