Listen like most of you I think Eminem is a top 10 rapper of all time. I think he's given us great albums and he's an amazing rapper if we're talking bars. But lets take a look at some facts. Who is the most influential rapper of all time, some would say Rakim, some would say Nas, some would say Pac and while I agree with all of this it leaves out one thing. When we talk about influence we talk about successful rappers that are influenced by these guys not unsuccessful youtube trash. And who at the end of the day influences most to all trash rappers today, thats right

    slim shady

Not only has he influenced 'lyrical miracle spin my d-ck till its spherical' rappers but he also opened the door to all corny, and especially corny white rap.

There's only like 10 good white rappers, and none of them are heavily influenced by Eminem.

There wouldn't be a hopsin if it wasn't for Eminem, and Hopsin just released this incredibly racist video that is now removed from youtube

So I say all that to say, while Eminem is a good rapper, he creates racists.

Yea I hear ya. FYI Da Drought 3 is a double album. Dedication 2 is just a single disc obviously. So that's 3 albums of material where a lot of it is surprisingly enjoyable.

Having said that, I gotta be in the right mood to listen to them. But when I am, I really enjoy the heck out of them, especially Drought 3. That's arguably the 2nd greatest mixtape ever after 50 Cent's Guess Who's Back.

My recommendation would be to listen to dedication 2 and da drought 3. I personally think those 2 mixtapes have way more enjoyable songs than career 1 or carter 2.

I'm not a huge Wayne fan so take that suggestion for what it's worth.

It took him that long to come up with a rebuttal against facts.

Literally the only people who could keep up with Wayne in his run was Ye and T.I back in 2006. I just dont know how you can act like 2006-2007 wasnt probably Wayne's best years creatively.

Look, i'm tired of trying to get this through to you when you're basically arguing with facts, so imma show you this picture from a Complex article of the best rapper alive every year since 1979, and it'll speak for itself, because even though Complex is s---, this is a good read.

    Screen Shot 2017-10-16 at 8.46.50 AM.png

And this is quoted explaining why they chose Wayne

"CREDENTIALS: 2005's Tha Carter II, Like Father, Like Son, Dedication 2, barrage of guest verses including "Gimmie That," "Make It Rain," and "You"

At the tail end of 2005, Lil Wayne dropped his best solo LP, Tha Carter II. The album featured a cut called "Best Rapper Alive," which seemed like another empty boast, but Wayne wasn't being cocky—he just realized his arrival before the rest of us did. After Tha Carter II, Weezy started his absolutely ridiculous run, highlighted by Dedication 2 and his joint album with Birdman, Like Father, Like Son, both of which featured some of the best rapping of his soon-to-be illustrious career.

More importantly, his mastery on the mic gave him the confidence to feel his way through any beat and interact with it as he saw fit. Once he started experimenting with more and more styles, the results were fascinating. It wasn't obvious then, but in retrospect he laid the groundwork for everyone's favorite version of Tunechi: Coke Rapper Weezy, Drugged-Out Weezy, Mainstream Weezy, Mixtape Weezy, etc. With confidence came comfort, and with comfort Wayne's personality shined through as he talked more about his love of SportsCenter, motorcycles, and all things New Orleans. His rhymes made him famous, but his "Murder the adults and let the kids get adopted" approach to fame made him a superstar."
