Oct 17, 2017 To be honest no ones compared the two albums song for song but I see now more than ever how gkmc is better. Storytelling on Sherane aka master splinters daughter is insane, the flow is perfect and paints the picture for the whole album. Sets the theme for the album of it being very dry and being in a desert. Poetic justice is the only weak song thats contestable. I love runaway but Maad City was the f---ing track of the year. Had no music video, wasn’t even a party song but it got f---in blasted in clubs, it was insanely popular, climatic, great storytelling, and revealed the theme of the whole album. Kendrick absolutely murdered that song.

Oct 17, 2017 I was never as big on MBDTF as everyone else. It’s a really good album but kinda drags on at times & a couple songs that are just ok. GKMC kinda suffers from its back half but I think overall it holds up better than MBDTF.
