    Im on episode 9 and i think its the best thing netflix has released in awhile

    For those whose have no idea what im talking about heres a plot synopsis:
    :
    Set in 1977 — in the early days of criminal psychology and criminal profiling at the Federal Bureau of Investigation— Mindhunter revolves around FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), who interview imprisoned serial killers in order to understand how such criminals think and apply this knowledge to solving ongoing cases

    As a Fincher, Lecter and Luther fan, I f---s with this heavy. I was also a fan of the cancelled series Lights Out which Holt McCallany was the lead star of. The real people and events in Mindhunter likely inspired Thomas Harris to create Lecter and Buffalo Bill. Holden also reminds me a bit of Will Graham and Luther, especially towards the end. Their profiling success often had disastrous consequences on their personal lives.

    I'm halfway through, but I like it quite a bit! I admire how much of it is just academic discussion, albeit with a dark, pulpy pull and a sharp sense of humor.

    I saw it on Netflix last night and ended up watching 7 episodes just last night. I love it.

    This was a fucken dope series. I'm into all the crime s--- so I feel like it was done really well and the pacing was pretty good too.
    Oh is it? Lol I missed that. OK well yh, that will be interesting next season

    This show made me think entirely different about crime and the people who commit crime. I never thought there to b a difference behind the motivation for crime....

    Like they portray crime as a simple "u got It. I need it. Ima take it. " mentality, but with serial killers you're dealing w ppl who will k--- another human being just for sport or fun. There's no rationality behind it and that s--- is scary :em55:


    Does anyone know if any of the history part about the show is true?

    Great show! ...i binged the whole season and now I regret it because there's no season 2
