    Like if mentally disturbed white guys were listening to Yeezus and decapitating people with the CD and they called for a Yeezus ban I'd turn that s--- in to the police real quick. Is that what an AR15 is to gun owners? Is that their Yeezus? Is banning guns for rednecks like telling me I can't listen to Yeezus anymore? Does it bring them that much visceral pleasure?     Oh for sure, I was mostly joking about the Yeezus thing, but I still really don't understand it cuz it's never been important in my family/region. That's another thing I don't get is why people don't think a document written 250 years ago might need some updating. but whatever the constitution is trash anyway they should get 50 cent to rewrite the hook

    You're an idiot, didn't even read past the first sentence.
    People wanting to commit crimes will not be purchasing guns legally, especially without the potential of suicide being a follow up action. I agree that background checks may provide a valuable role but you're completely forgetting the fact that you can go to Mexico, or Felipe down the block who sells Heroin and purchase a gun without a Serial Number no 7 day wait period for a couple hundred bucks, and there's no way of tracing it back to you.

    you guys always fail to see the long term here ffs. Yes gun control doesn't make illegally owned firearms magically registered. But what do you think happens to gun owners if guns become illegal in some form?

    lets say there's an outright ban on assault rifles. Anyone who now has an assault rifle is now going
    "f--- if this gets SEEN, i can face criminal charges"
    so they are more inclined to keep the gun inside/to themself. They are less inclined to go flashing the gun around. they are much less inclined to carry the gun in public without trying to conceal it and looking supicious.

    Also, you fa---- c---- who lived with rich mom and dad their whole life don't realize that if you can't buy your guns legally, you're not gonna be able to go to the ghetto drug-dealer and get a gun for a couple hundred. d--- dealers/criminals whatever you want to call it, they want $$ first and foremost.

    you think they'll still sell you a handgun for $100 after gun control? ....
    so it's like 1000000x harder for any person to obtain guns and dealers will go "haha i wont up my price, i am a gentlemen with morals!" f---ing idiots, the """"black market"""" will drive the price of guns up tenfold.

    I'm just at a loss for words man. How do we stop the media from making these dudes famous?

    Maybe it's just because of the part of the country I was raised in it but I don't understand why anyone would possibly need to own an assault rifle and I don't see how we're ever going to pry them from people unless it's from their cold, dead, white hands.
