    lyrics are really good, flow is eh, beat is ok, beyonce did a good job even tho i dont like her

    his flow on 4:44 was... not good. i don't love eminem's delivery here but it def occurred to me that 2017 jay likely could not do this. or best case it'd be comparable.

    this is a good topic for struggle exchange on everyday struggle, should artists take a look at criticism from fans or just follow their hearts because this song is too sad and Ems depressed on it

    Jay's not doing anything acrobatic on 4:44 but he still sounds smooth and he still knows how to make a cohesive song with fitting production. Only dud on 4:44 was that song that flipped a fuggees sample really awkwardly imo. Eminem sounds choppy like he's nervously reading a rough draft of a school paper in front of his class
    what's good about the flow? his delivery sounds like some macklemore slam poetry s--- over a melodramatic piano loop

    Boring.... Sounds like something Koolo would have leaked if he could be bothered to find it on an old harddrive.

    If the rest of the album follows suit it's gonna be a poor album.

    Wheres the fun tracks gone, without me or just lose it are better than this.

    Rubin and Porter need to be moved along before they ruin more s---.

    Just want to say that in the chorus, Em says that he can't walk on water because he's only human.

    The ad for revival is saying that you can walk on water with Revival tho.

    Ehhh I usually agree with your posts but modern day Jay Z does not flow considerably better than the flow on walk on water. I can't believe you even said that with a straight face. 4:44 is littered with choppy flow. That was one of the biggest complaints from people.

    For the record, I like Hov more than Em. I don't find their modern day choppiness all that annoying. Sure I miss their primes but I mean these dudes are old enough to be grandfathers for crying out loud. Rap is a young mans genre. Im just glad these dudes still put out music.

    Is their music today as good as they used to be? f--- no. It's really unfair to expect them to sound as good today as they did 20 years ago.

    Edit: sorry, I went on a little rant there.
