Nah I think that's off point.

Because... it suggests Em doesn't REALLY feel hated or criticised, or, that - these criticisms are not real and he's kind of making them up or stretching s--- for the sake of content.

But that's not true. All of the criticisms about his lacking content and everything he said are real loud rap fan and eminem fan gripes, but the average listener wouldn't be aware of them...

Which is why this is not a song for the average listener. To the average ilstener this song makes no sense and results in an article like that. Because that writer saying MMLP2 is 4 x platinum and won best rap grammy? Proves me point. They see Eminem's surface success, they don't understand he wants to be respected by rap fans and to create a classic hip-hop album. And he knows his past few albums weren't, regardless of sales or public praise.

It's actually a very honest response to core rap fans and core Eminem fans. That writer misses the point and wouldn't get that.
