I think that better serves the purpose and intended feel of this song though. There's already been something posted with drums on it and it sounds horrrrrrible. Like it instantly becomes generic as f---, from that alone.

Given that Em is contemplative, almost stopping and starting 'scribbling out his thoughts', reflecting, all that s---... slow, plodding piano makes absolute perfect sense. I don't see how or why it would need anything else - and I think it would detract from it.

I was saying that the lack of percussion is the only thing that makes it at all interesting instrumentally, it was a good choice

Doesn't need to distract from it, idk i don't think it's a bad song just far from one of ems best

Definitely wayyy far from one of his best.

People saying that I think are ridiculous.

But, if it's an intro to an amazing album... it serves its purpose as its piece to a meaningful puzzle. And I think his album will be better off this way, without him trying to make every song its own individual star - he needs more thought in his albums, more structure.

MMLP2 he tries to make every song a star. And almost every song is. But the ALBUM is a---.

Beyonces f---ing Gospel singing hook ruined this song for me.
I agree ems verses are tight but that f---ing hook sounds horrible. Skyler wrote it she should of sang it.

When it makes up 50% of the 4 minutes yeah. That s--- sounds like it she be playing in a church Down south. Go ahead and drive around windows Down pumping that. Or turn your volume up and listen nice and loudly on your beats. Gospel music definitely gets my heart pumping. Get the f--- out of here. She f---ing butchered this song
