Nov 14, 2017 Let's think about that for a moment. Like many of you, I am disappointed with Walk on Water. I can see why he did it, but it still doesn't do it for me. Obviously Marshall is going crazy at this time because he realizes that there's no more pictures to paint. He can't figure out what to do. He is STUMPED. I'm just wondering what he's supposed to do. I know what he's NOT supposed to do. And that is to use choppy flows or to not flow to beats properly. That's something he doesn't need to do. I'm also not a fan of all these female pop stars on hooks. If I were him I would probably try to make a song with a White America Vibe and throw in a bunch of Trump lines. I would even call out fans of mine that are fans of his, many times throughout the album and disrespect them distastefully. Remember, controversy is what made Eminem. He used to feed off of the controversy. What would you do?
Nov 14, 2017 -Stop working with Skylar Grey -Stop making rap albums that sound pop -Return to that "Eminem is a n-----" sound/swag instead of this new s--- -Stop sounding like poor man's Macklemore -Don't use corny r---/gerbal f---in/i make b------s c-m lines -Go back and learn how to flow -Rap with other rappers (Nas, thought, drake, Q, Kanye, Wayne,) more -Utilize Slaughterhouse more -Take more lessons from Joe's more recent albums -Stop working wit Skylar Grey -I don't wanna hear another Pink song from you again n----- -More black and less white -Get an A&R that's in tune with rap culture -Go outside more -Stop working with Skylar Grey -Change up your production sound -Did I mention to stop f---ing working with Skylar Grey?
Nov 14, 2017 Work only with Dre, ride the beat and take over the world again. Edit: I actually enjoyed Walk on Water. Bitterly disappointed with 2013-2016.
Nov 14, 2017 This doesn’t apply to me, but I think he should have retired after Encore and he would be considered the GOAT. That would be his final bow when there’s nothing left to say instead of saying the same things over and over again, and he should of replaced the bad songs on Encore with the good ones from around the same time(Bully, We As Americans, Love You More, etc. from Straight From The Lab). I like most of his material in the past couple years, so I’m glad he didn’t retire or die, but this is the best thing that he could’ve done to prevent all these problems from happening.
Nov 14, 2017 Cringe I would put him on some spooky three 6 mafia type beats and talk about doing drugs and killing ppl for the whole thing with only 1 or 2 features that spit a verse
Nov 14, 2017 Make what the f--- III think is amazing and f--- everybody. When he came back with Relapse, that's what he said he wanted to do again. He said with the first three, that's what he did - he didn't give a f--- about anybody and just did what the f--- he wanted... and he wanted to get back to that. And, low and behold, every time he's done that - we got his 4 best albums. Every time he tries to please people - we get his worst. Because that's a s-----y space for an artist to be in. You can't please everybody, and won't and you just end up with a muddled, compromised, f----- up piece of art vs. a pure vision. There's enough people in the world who will like what you do, whatever it is. And if not, who gives a f--- any way? How much more famous does he need to be? How much richer? How many more awards? He's so obsessed with being accepted but he's already made his mark, he should just create what he thinks is amazing and smash it - start to finish. At the very least we'd get a consistent album, a vision.
Nov 14, 2017 Dre said once in an interview the most important thing for him when making music, before content or anything like that, is to make music you can bob your head to. Ie it has to sound fun to listen to before anything. Id just follow that philosophy. At this point in his career Eminem has said everything there is to b said about himself and quite frankly I dont give a s--- what he's rapping about at this stage, just make good music. I think achieving both is too hard for the autists brain to handle rn
Nov 14, 2017 He should be making a confident, nostalgic album with Iconic features such as Nas/Jay/Dre using a regular flow which you can play in the car and enjoy. He shouldn’t be working with that f---in hippy Rick Rubin who thinks he’s some kind of Shakespeare/David Bowie creative genius. NO DRUMS ON AN EMINEM SINGLE? What...the f---. Marshall has so badly lost his way...
Nov 14, 2017 Smoke some weed, grab a drive/disk full of unused Dre produced beats and go at some c----!
