Holy s--- now that I think about Em and HBK have very similar career paths

Only difference is Shawn’s second act of his career was better than the 1st lol

Did you just say drake in 2001 is up there with em in 2002, and 50 in 03? I don’t drink or smoke, but for this special occasion I’d like to have what you smoking and drinking. Drake wasn’t even top 5 of highest selling albums that year.

another reason not to fall for this clickbait is that before revival dropped just based on stream numbers for wow and untouchable Em already moved like 140k units. Do the math people, sometimes i cant tell if u guys are trolling or just not very smart.

If you guys doubt Em starpower look at G-Eazy sales, He had one of the biggest singles of 2017, probably streamed more than both eminem singles easily. If eminem singles already did over 100k why do u believe G eazy will do 130k first week? this is one day sales. HitsDD know how stans get so they posted this because they know stans will click. smh

Sales are the only factor of deciding that from the industry point of view

We will find out in 2020

Drake sales are horrible guys. Im not saying this to s--- on him. His entire albums sales combined are less than recovery sales. And no im not making that up lol

I'm not wrong. The song was nearly as big as Lose Yourself that year. It's one of the highest selling singles of all time pre-digital downloads. Saying a song cant be popular because its old is r-----ed tbh

Drake wasn't top 5 highest selling album in 2011? Please provide the data. Plus I mentioned other factors. Yall keep using the sales argument to say who runs rap and I've told you guys time after time that isn't the only thing that is ever considered. Drake had hotter verses, was on the hottest songs, and also had the biggest impact that year. Every demographic played him and you could always hear him in the club. It's more to it than white stans buying albums fam. Do yall even follow rap culture or just eminem?

Drakes music still bumps at parties. Eminem's music hasn't played in clubs since 2005.

Also I predicted Views would out sell Revival and it's happening. Views is also a better album than revival

No one said a song couldn't be popular. You have one hit wonders who sell millions and are never heard from again (not talking about Nelly here). We are talking about who's bigger overall and Drake is bigger than Nelly with his Discography and popularity

I don't follow Em's global sales. Only sales in the states. It's not shocking to know that eminem sells more globally than every1 else. Most rappers don't sell well globally. Outside of em the only other really big name was 50

Eminem just needs to lock himself in a room with Dre, No ID, DJ Premier, A great trap producer like Metro Boomin' or Southside.
They and Em himself have to produce his last album.
Also have Kendrick, Dre, Royce, Sean and The Weeknd on that.
Eminem can still rap as evident in his songs in Revival like Castle, Arose, Believe etc.
He just needs a team which can help him in producing a cohesive record.
    That's where he's failing.
Eminem didn't fall of as a rapper, he forgot to make cohesive albums.
And he shouldn't give the slightest f--- about what the fans want.
He should keep his fans updated.
And with some old school and modern day production combined, release an album that pleases the fanbase and the culture both and go out like a boss.
