Nelly had two albums go number one and two on debut in 2004 for combined first week sales of 797k and his hits lasted long into 2005

More black people listened to 50 cent from 03-05 than Nelly ever. That's a fact. If Nelly got so much play, why is 50 more influential? Ive made this point for the past hour and every1 ignores this. If nelly was so big, why is he less influential than 50? If 50 got shot after GRODT, he would be top 5 DOA. if nelly got shot after country grammar, well.. n----s get shot everyday b

his run was over by that time. Sales don't make your run. Hence why Eminem isnt still on a run right now. Nelly wasn't the hottest rapper in 04 or even close to it. T.I. in 04>>>>>Nelly

50 cent was more influential long term, that's like saying if Soulja Boy was so hot in 2007 he must be one of the greatest now

50 was more influential in 03 than Nelly ever was. He single handedly revived gangsta rap and influenced every early southern trap artist. Every early trap n-----'s favorite albums include GRODT. Nobody give a f--- about country grammar outside of a few singles

So trap muzik didnt have a massive impact in the south in 03/ Urban legend didnt have classic southern bangers like motivation, asap? Bring Em out wasn't a smash hit and one of the hottest tracks in 04? Ur delusional.

Yeah, yall gotta live in the suburbs. Nelly was not popular in rap culture like that in 04 and if he was as popular as yall say, why can none of yall mention his impact outside of ONE SONG. Which I believe was a single

Trap Muzik was a regional classic, and Bring Em Out was great but TI was nowhere near as big of a star in 04 than the actual rap stars in 2004
