    i think vince's album is very, very good. (not a masterpiece, but still.) just not quite in my top fifteen. great year.

    Just as I expected. Bunch of never heard guys there. Surprised to See Snoop on the list. d--- was best album to me this year. Still don't get what is so appealing about Future or even Migos but whatever...

    Huge fan of both HNDRXX and Beautiful Thugger Girls, but HNDRXX is better. AOTY for me.

    Beautiful Thugger Girls is a classic tho, 9/10

    me either, especially when it comes to the migos. all their songs sound the same. and they're definitely nothing to get excited about. this is how you know that music quality is a highly subjective matter

    Very surprised to see Culture outside of the top 10. I have to give a few of those albums in your list a listen but Culture is top 5 for me this year

    this is on my songs list, and dedication is on my longer albums list.

    EDIT: blindly thought this was "can you be my friend"
    is there something you dislike about either of those artists
    hmm. nope. next
    so there was some back and forth about this; at the moment, i'm leaning toward not counting HBO as a 2017 album, which puts his collected work from this year outside of the top 15 for me. i might change my mind on that before the big list is out. if i do, it'll vault over a lot of these.

    Ah yes Can You Be My Friend is indeed the best song on there and one of the very best of the year but I felt the whole tape was consistently great.
