    it was corny to hate on migos when they came out because they were great. it made sense to hate on what migos were doing around the time of the YRN album because they had gotten so obsessed with getting credit for their trendsetting that that's all they rapped about. now they're great again. a little something i like to call..............horseshoe theory.

    not hating on them--just don't think there is anything special about their music. they don't really stand out to me.

    that's cool that WPG is a good writer and reviews rap music-----but music quality is a highly subjective matter and much more about personal taste than it is about this guy is better than that guy. lists like this don't hold much weight

    I will accept Quavo slander though because he’s been almost insufferable this year. But his work within Migos is still good, it’s just that he rarely comes with hard verses even on the Migos tracks these days, lost his hunger. He still pulls off some iconic hooks so his place in the group is needed but ugh I’ve had enough of his features. That song with Thug on the Zaytoven tape made me reminisce on when he actually cared and had something to say.

    Takeoff and Offset are easily amongst the best rappers alive, especially Takeoff.

    i thought it was pretty good.
    i honestly haven't listened to it yet. i've had a huge critical piece dragging out for two weeks that was just interrupted by em; hoping to get to it tomorrow. how is it.

    I like it. His delivery gets really wild in places. Like he's being influenced in reverse by some contemporary guys. The ballads are really earnest as well. His song to his mom for instance :emoji_cry:
