Dec 19, 2017 Lmao an album is a flop whenever it doesnt come close to the expectations. Em should have sold 600k at least. He flopped
Dec 19, 2017 -Bad Single Choices -Trump thing alienated alot of fans -The WOAT rollout that had elements that could only be recognized by hardcore Stans. -Word of Mouth -Leak -Paul giving infinite L's, spitting in the faces of real fans during the entire rollout pissed them off. -Shady records couldn't even capitalize whenever the hype was at it's peak. -Half of the fans probably backed out the moment they saw Rick Rubin, Alex Da Kid, Skylar Grey in the album. And don't forget the pop features. -Huge chunk of the rap community doesn't even think Em is a legend so they've stopped supporting it completely.
Dec 19, 2017 Might be various reasons behind the reason I'm gonna give but here we go. The reason is US citizens don't wanna hear Em half as much as they used to do 4-5 years ago. Yeah, Trump thing might had effect on ppl since I'm already sure half of them are dumb enough to get offended in behalf of a politician... It might be about the stream era. Cuz he didn't have any big singles before the album dropped. I don't see that being related to sale numbers tho just streaming ones. But I don't really see any kinda decrease in Europe at all so it's kinda obviousthat it's about US.
Dec 19, 2017 ANd yet his most successful tracks are the ones who had featured hooks. Check the facts before u talk. Believe is an exception...
Dec 19, 2017 Phenomenal had wack instrumentals. Kings Never Die didn't really flopped at all. MMLP2 was basically rated pretty good by people except the ones here because it's just the time to hate it. And after few months or a year people will praise it as much as they are doing with Recovery for few years... This is how it works for Em.. Btw, the fact that it's only doing bad in US is telling me it was mostly about the Trump thing which is very very funny lol.
Dec 19, 2017 The “flop” is because his core fans aren’t buying the album I would guess. The pop singles will do fine in the iTunes chart but I don’t think it’s the pop songs that carry over to album sales I don’t think... I could be wrong I’m just assuming.
Dec 19, 2017 It didnt I told ppl he wont top 300k cuz its obvious he wont for 1- 4 years break with zero songs 2- no singles/videos Its rly cut and dry
Dec 19, 2017 It was definitely a combination, the rollout killed the hype early on, his fanbase is split and it feels like he's trying to appeal to his surface fans instead of his down to earth fans that somehow are still fans after he fell from grace with Encore
Dec 19, 2017 The fact that Nasir raps on March Madness and on trap beats just shows u how out of touch Eminem is. He's like that rich white kid that doesnt know how normal people operate. It's incredibly ironic too. O well. U can never be the goat marshall
Dec 19, 2017 It's easy.... Eminem did his own hooks and beats on TES his arguably best album. Do that again, problem solved.
