Dec 25, 2017 Well, as I said it's a dumb question with this being music. If we are going by your definition, Eminem has zero trilogies as well, until mmlp3 comes out. Unless we count Relapse, Recovery, and revival trilogies because they all begin with R which is just dumb, made up by fans, and makes this whole thread void. I would count ICP forgotten freshness vol 1 through 3 as a trilogy before anything eminem related.
Dec 25, 2017 Well I don’t follow Eminem enough to really know but according to what people in this thread said, Em himself said it was a trilogy so I was going based off that. The forgotten freshness albums are rare/unreleased/outtakes type stuff, hard to even count em as official albums imo. Still I’d personally take vols 1 and 2 over all 3 of these Em albums...
Dec 25, 2017 Nah. But relapse talk about drugs,madness, rehabilitation and recovery is positive post addiction album. They are diferent but for me sound like part 1 and part 2. Revival is a mess that s--- even hasnt a theme. I was very excited when i saw the album name but what happened is really dissapointed to me. The cover, the marketing and finally the content, all bad.

A medication for terrible rhyming, as well as a revival of the country. Not sure how the theme fits into substance abuse if that's what Eminem is talking about. f--- it, who cares.

Dec 26, 2017 Horrible opinons. Relapse is classic from a historical standpoint of Eminem's life, a personal standpoint, and a lyrical standpoint. Recovery is the comeback album featuring Not Afraid, Going Through Changes, and Talking to Myself. Revival is the album that bands us together against our horrible president. Have you no shame? Have you no respect? Have you no sympathy?
