People aren't going to continue streaming/listening to a song that the hook is the only listenable part. I think shadys camp knew eminems verses were just that bad that they didn't want it released as the lead single. Just the way he sounds on the track is awful. I tried so hard to enjoy the song too cause I really did enjoy Ed on it.

But yeah there’s no chance he wanted it to flop and it’s not even really worth discussing tbh lol. But I give ya credit for taking it to the extreme and coming up with a pretty crazy theory, I didn’t expect even Em fans to go to this extent with it.
