    Some handle s--- differently. My brother lost his s--- and shut down. I still browse online to try to keep my mind off of it but obviously I couldn't when I remembered posting in this thread that it was the best year of my life. I thought about the consequences if I post about it but I understand, I'm edgy too bro

    How was it?

    I mean a lot of s-----y things happened in the world that make it a bad year but I'm not sure if I can believe 2018 will be that much better. The world is still messed up and there are still too many idiots/sick f---s that make other people's lives miserable. Too many discussions also about dumb s--- when there are so many important issues imo.

    But.. thats not what I mean, I mean in your own life. How was 2017 for you?

    For me

    - went on vacation 3 times this year and every one of them was great. I have talked about visiting the US for years and this year I did it.
    - got a permanent contract which makes a lot of things easier
    - went out with friends a lot of times
    - both did and bought a lot of cool stuff
    - with work and so many s--- I do on the side relationship life has been kinda at an all time low. It didn't really bother me but sometimes I did think about it
    - a lot of troubles in my family this year but luckily we're all healthy and we spend the holidays together

    So basically 2017 (till now at least) was pretty good for me personally despite all the s--- going on around me/us.

    Incredible year for music. Personally, it was an alright year for me. Pretty s-----y year for the world as a whole though.
