It’s really obvious he should definitely hang it up now.

His true last classic (and I mean real classic, not cult s--- like Relapse) was in 2002. Almost 16 years ago.. 16 years. Recovery was a decent album and definitely freshened things up a bit but since then he’s declined to the point now where no one is interested in what he has to say anymore. He can still rap for sure, but his recycled themes, stupid flows and terrible beat selection and bad hooks is so tiresome. Like do we really think he genuinely has one more great album in him? It’s wishful thinking from now on..

He had over 3 years to master this album and look what he gave us. I think we need to just conclude that while he is technically still a great wordsmith when he wants to be, he is incapabale of making great music

Sad, but true.

Although I don't really care for him to stop, because I'd still rather have a few great Em tracks every few years than none. I don't think producing bad albums just undoes the great work he has done. SSLP-TES are still pure brilliance and once of the best albums runs ever.

But yeah, leading up to Revival... for the first time ever... I had 0 faith he would create a classic. Which was never the case before. With Recovery I thought he could, with MMLP2 I thought he could. But I think after Recovery, MMLP2 and Shady XV era collab tracks... I felt like he'd turned a corner he would never turn back - with the pop star collabs and style of making music...

And sadly I was right. Revival is that worse than ever.

I don't think he's capable of making a classic. Maybe at a push a 'very nice' album, but he'd have to get in the studio with 1-2 producers and create a sound. If he continues picking random beats and making random s---, then splicing it together... No chance. But that is what I think he's going to continue doing now until he retires.

He should make his last album. f---ing lock yourself up with Dre in the studio, f--- these pop features, f--- the rock elements, f--- the corny punchlines, just say what you have to say on your last body of work. 10 to 13 tracks. Go out a legend and stay away forever.

D6 trash too. Wayne been trash since 2010. Difference is wayne's trash fits in with the time so he's more likely to give u decent verses from time to time. Em talks about raping women and locking trump's daughter in a basement. Foh no1 tryna hear that s--- in 2017.

I've got an idea, why don't you guys just move the f--- on from Eminem and try not continually posting in his section bashing his music? just listen to all the music that you actually like and leave the eminem trash to the people that still enjoy his music for what it is. A lot of people here have made it perfectly clear that they hate his new music and how they believe other artists are better and yet they post about him everyday of their lives, are you guys that miserable? or are your lives devoid of anything else? We get it, just move on, it's actually quite sad to come to this website and see the same group of losers writing the same s--- as they do every month only in less creative ways.

Also is the Taylor Swift love here some kind of meme? if not you guys are seriously r-----ed, she's f---ing manufactured trash for white women and you r-----s need to go evaluate you lives if you think otherwise.

3 stacks was right. As u get older, ur decline gets more obvious. Em trash right now and he doesnt have another great album in him. His music is trash. Beat selection trash. Rhymes are lowkey corny now and he does the same sht over n over.
