Apr 8, 2018 It’s all over.... See ya’ll in 5 years when Em’s next album drops... Ft Adele, Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Moby, Benzino, Asher Roth, Justin Beiber, Elton John, Blue Ivey, and the guy from the subway commercials.
Apr 9, 2018 Sad but true. It happens to everyone, if given enough time. I think he’ll still randomly drop entertaining verses or songs as he enters the twighlight of his career, but I’m no longer expecting a great solo album. I think that ship has sailed. It doesn’t seem like he has it in him any more. Silver lining I guess, if there’s one dude who could shock us all and drop a classic album after all this time, it’s him. But I no longer believe this will happen. I thought revival was gonna be that album and well, we all saw how that played out.
Apr 9, 2018 The only thing that gives me hope are the 2 verses he dropped since the album (chloro remix, nowhere fast extended) These verses are better than 90% of the album.
Apr 9, 2018 Yup, I almost didn’t add that silver lining part to my post because I feel like us getting a really great f---ing album isn’t in the cards any more, but then I remembered the chloriseptic remix and talked myself into it still being possible haha
Apr 9, 2018 Eminem is still brilliant. I'm sorry you can't enjoy his recent material, but I'm still consistently getting impressed after all these years. Eminem is incredible.
Apr 9, 2018 To commemorate the dead chick on the interlude. And to allegorize religion. And to represent the revival of himself after the overdose. And the revival of America. This album was a mess smh
Apr 9, 2018 I have a fantastic story. I was listening to chloraseptic remix for first time in a while. Still a great verse. Afterwards that nowhere fast remix came on at random. I immediatey started to feel annoyed, but decided since I've never actually made it through the whole song(had forgotten why) I wanted to give it another chance. While I didn't love the first verse, I felt , ok, its not that bad I guess. The second verse came on and I instantly remembered why I skipped it the first time. That voice, not easy on the ears at all, im struggling now and start to wonder if I even care about what he's rambling on about, but, I actually made it through this time, then a part came on I missed the last time. Something about time stopping and a pine box. Ok, he's actually rhyming to a beat now, but very short lived as he ends the verse lazily and the hook kicks in. Still have never heard the 3rd verse. I got 4 seconds of enjoyable rap in those first 2 verses. How the f--- is this a single. No one possibly listens to this s---.
