    I dont follow him closely but I swear I've seen other releases posted about since he died... also it's Jay Rock's lead single and on the black panther soundtrack so its kinda a big deal tbh

    How? Kendrick stans will check his stuff no matter if its bannered. Nobody will bother checking this out, usually. This might make people listen to it and find out its pretty cool.

    Idk I mean I think you're supposed to cater to your audience, there are a lot of kenny stans on this site (it is called sxn80). I was also under the impression banners were supposed to be for the biggest news. I feel bannering something like this will only lead to ppl (like me) derailing the thread from the niche group of ppl who will discuss this

    Tbf eminems song wasn't bannered or even featured when it dropped, which was even bigger (and has a bigger fanbase)

    I get what ur saying but people will check big news regardless if its bannered

    I don't care if you don't like his music. It was mostly disrespectful cuz you basically said "f--- this dead guy and his trash music" when he died at 21 years young like what? Two months ago? Like it's just in poor taste for no reason other than you were mad that a C-list member of TDE's single wasn't bannered.

    Finding/cutting/resizing a banner so it looks good on both mobile and desktop also takes more time than you'd think.

    yeah wtf is up with people acting like no one should listen to music from someone who passed away

    would they be having this energy right after 2Pac passed, or its only okay to act like this because an artist had "lil" in his name?
