The notion that you have to do one thing your whole life is dying along with the boomers. You guys are young and don't need to worry about not knowing what you wanna do with your life yet. I wouldn't sweat it.

Thanks man! But seriously even though I have what I wanna do somewhat narrowed down to "writing/editing/publishing/etc" I'm still trying things out and figuring out what exactly I want to do with my life and I'm 27. It can make you feel lost at times but I'm also thankful that I've been able to try lots of stuff out and I didn't marry at 22 and have to find "a good steady job" at the dog food factory or some s--- to feed my family.

Also, if you find two things that interest you, just double major. People say double majoring is hard but it really isn't, it just might take you a bit of extra time to graduate. It's definitely more cost-effective than having to go back to school later...though if you DO find something you wanna do later, I say just say f--- it and do it cuz you only have one life and personally I'd rather have to be in debt for awhile and pay off loans while doing something I like than be miserable.

In terms of growing and branding your own product? If you got in early I'm sure you made a ton of money, but now the market is so oversaturated I dunno if it's as lucrative. As far as I know there's not a ton of brand loyalty because there's so many different growers. I think owning a store still could be because here it's like coffee shops in that somehow there's always room for another one even if there's already three on the same block. I also think innovating in terms of edibles is probably easier to make a name for yourself because a regular person can easier say "this tastes better than this and they both get me high" than tell the difference between the same strain grown by two different growers. Then again the market for craft beer seems to be limitless.

I don't know a ton about it though, that's just what I've gleaned from people talking about it. I'm sure you can make solid money even if it's oversaturated. People always are gonna want weed.

u still got plenty of time at 20, I didnt go to uni til 21 and studded biology and by the time that was over im not even working in a job related to my major and do geospatial stuff instead (i just did a couple geospatial courses on the side). I plan to go back and do a masters and in biology in a few years though and maybe even a PhD.

I work with a lot of engineers and probably half of them transitioned to engineering pretty late and studied as mature students.

point is thats Its just not likely for most people to have made up theirr mind about what they really want to do in life when you are this young
