I'd never heard of them before Black Panther but their track on there is honestly probably my favorite on the album. Downloaded their self-titled tape and am digging it.
Good on Kendrick for helping Mozzy and these dudes get exposed to a wider audience.Ordinary Joel, Michael Vick, asvdawg and 5 others like this. -

yeah, mozzy's music racks up a lot of views online, and he's accrued a big fanbase––he's obviously one of the most popular rappers in sacramento, and i mean that in the "he's on the radio as much as drake and kendrick" way––but these dudes are genuine stars all over the bay, and get a good amount of attention in la. their music skews close enough to where radio is right now to be passably mainstream, but they're still very specific, and pretty regional (and, you know, younger). they'll be pretty popular for a while.Ordinary Joel, Michael Vick, Radeem and 4 others like this. -

Yeah, Mozzy is great, but I don't really see him snagging many people who aren't already big fans of rap. I've only scratched the surface of SOB X RBE, but they've kinda got a bit of that bay area "bounce" to them that could capture some mainstream appeal.Ordinary Joel, Michael Vick, SHUDEYE and 1 other person like this.Nov 24, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

i think these guys have a shot to carve out a nice career on the fringes of the mainstream. mozzy probably is what he's going to be, commercially, but that's fine.Ordinary Joel, Michael Vick, SHUDEYE and 1 other person like this.
