Feb 28, 2018 I’ve still got that bit of (maybe unreleastic) hope that he finally gets in the studio with the right producers/w/o yes-men & will bow out with a classic. He’s still capable of classic tracks but clearly needs guidance when putting together a whole album. Not his manager picking tracks/getting features/approving beats Regardless, no artist will get me as excited about a new release as Eminem. Can safely say that’s the same for plenty of others
Feb 28, 2018 Eh, now especially after Revival if Kanye, Q, Vince, or Kendrick were to announce a solo LP Id be more excited than if Em did, to name a few. Id still be excited, just not as much as others. Now if he put out 2 amazing singles that might change, but he doesnt even seem to know how to make a good hook anymore, and with Skylar writing half of them theyll always just be pop hooks. I just had such high hopes for revival, especially after WoW came out, but he still did the same s--- over and over again. And I do as well but that will never happen. Em doesnt want to do that so he never will. If em actually did get with some dope people he could put out a classic still, but the odds are slim to none
Feb 28, 2018 Our best hope is if he took the anger he showed on the Chloraseptic Remix and recorded in the studio for a few months with good producers. That pic of Dre and Mike Will is a good sign After all, there’s no denying that he raps better when people doubt him, and he’s clearly acknowledged the doubt But I’m not too bothered when we get his next release, I just want him to get it right. Royce’s plans for this year will keep me satisfied for now
Feb 28, 2018 Em used to have a charisma when he flowed over beats back in the days, that charisma is exactly what lacked in Revival, maybe because Em wasn't too invested in its conception, but then came Chloraseptic Remix and you notice a glimpse of that charisma again, Em never fell off in the writing department, his execution is what fell off in my opinion
