Mar 5, 2018 Even sadder is a lot of people (I mean it's still a mass public minority but speaking hardcore forum stans here) actually believe that too and love the record and praise it as some kind of dark slim shady masterpiece I would love to hear eminems feelings in depth, I guarantee he realizes how much he f----- up and distorted his shady character and that's a big reason he hates the record so much-- but he can't explain that on a song cause a lot of people wouldn't understand
Mar 5, 2018 This is extremely pessimistic but I think it is almost impossible for Eminem to put out a *great* album at this point. The root of the problem is Em himself on most projects. Yeah, you could bring the Bass Brothers back, you could get Dre, you could get rid of the pop features, but unless Em really wants to, I can’t see him making an album where he proves anyone looking down on him wrong. And to be honest I don’t think he wants to. I would hope he lights a fire under his a--- and gets angry and puts out a gritty, dark rap album, but his next album will most likely be half him despairing over relevancy and creative struggles in ballad form and half frustrated-sporadic unorganized rappity rap over s--- beats. But I still look forward to what’ll happen for that one percent chance of a great album.

Mar 6, 2018 I would say so for me. I loved walk on water, wasn't a good single though. River has been on the radio non stop so can't help but like that. Only other song I like is Chloroseptic remix. I think I gave the album 3 listens.

Mar 6, 2018 I personally think encore is better than mmlp2, recovery and revival. It is half really good and half bad but the bad is atleast aware of its shitness (doesnt make it any better). And it has classic songs, revival, mmlp2 have NO classic songs. Relapse 7/10 maybe even an 8. Beats and flows>>content and lyrics. Encore 6/10, rain man is kinda good Recovery 5/10, eh. Eh. Revival 2/10 absolute poopshit and boring, disgrace Mmlp2 4/10. Just bores me to death. If i were to rate on entertainment value i would say a 1/10.

Mar 6, 2018 Evil Deeds is ... pretty good. Yellow Brick Road is good... Never Enough is good. Mosh is pretty good. Crazy in Love is pretty good. Encore is pretty good. WOW, Believe, Chloraseptic, Untouchable, Framed, Castle, Arose are all better, imo. But that's not even the point. Em practically sabotaged Encore when he recorded those god awful tracks. For someone who's for the album experience above all else, I'm surprised you can look past that.
Mar 6, 2018 Encore is still his worst album. Revival is his 2nd worst and worst album after Encore. Encore has like six amazing tracks that I find myself revisiting Like Toy Soldiers Mosh Mockingbird Yellow Brick Road Love You More We As Americans While Revival certainly has more Walk On Water Believe River (Even though it isn't a classic, it's the best pop Eminem song, better than his s--- with RiRi and Pink) Revival Interlude (I'm dying for a full version with verses) Framed In Your Head Castle Arose But it has 6 tracks that I could've lived without Remind Me, Untouchable, Need Me, Heat, Offended, Nowhere Fast. 5 of them are garbage and 1 doesn't fit. And before you tell me that I'm tone deaf, I don't deserve to listen to rap. Let me remind you we all are human beings and ppl have opinions. There's something we call preferences.

The content, Lyricy and Rap in general is all there on Revival, it just ruins it slightly by having poppy throw away tracks on there
