    I'm intrigued by the idea of this, but I hope the lines aren't super strict cuz to me Drake's at his best when he blends rapping and singing. I bet the discs will be separated more by mood/tone than straight genre though.

    Looks like they recorded it at Soto Studios, you can see the scorpion artwork in the background the same as from 40's pic. Wonder if it is new or he was just teasing dropping it today

    Word I don't think he's gonna refrain from singing a hook or something just cause it's on the rap side.

    He kind of attempted this with Views. You can tell the entire tone of the album changes once you get to With You and again at the Summers Over Interlude. The end of that album process was a mess and it had gone through so many changes since 2014 so separating it this way for Scorpion SHOULD leave us with a much better album(s).

    I’m very pessimistic about the R&B album. Drake’s singing works well when he combines it with his rapping. In all reality, he’s not a great singer lol. Also, drake singing for an ~1 hour isn’t going to hold my attention lol.

    Don't think the line will be as strict as you're assuming. R&B Drake tracks are just as much Days In The East as they are Marvin's Room.
