    The only songs on d--- that are TPAB level are DNA, FEAR, FEEL, LUST, PRIDE, and DUCKWORTH. Not to mention TPAB has no mediocre songs while d--- has LOVE and GOD

    This album is jazz funk and spoken word for ppl who dont listen to jazz funk or spoken word.

    But its a classic and i can respect that.

    Im black and I appreciate that instead of going pop, he made an album that celebrated black music and history, had some of his best rapping on it, didnt shy away from live instrumentation, didnt dumb his music down after the success of GKMC, combated institutional racism, mental slavery, and drew out an amazing concept creating a parallel of the Iceberg Slim narrative (bet you're too much of a cac to know what that even is) to the music industry while having the whole album being an excerpt of a poem. Even if it wasnt a classic, its definitely one of the best concept albums ever
