    No one thinks big Sean is executing genius concepts and is too smart for the average listener. Cole executes pretty straightforward concepts that people who haven't read a book since high school understand and feel smart for getting when really it's just their brain telling them that maybe they should seek out things that make them think.

    I guess it's more like big krit. It's fine. I get why people watch it. But once you've seen 5-10 eps you've seen them all.

    Maybe "aggressively mediocre" is the correct term.

    My issue is the lack of novelty, he's like a children's textbook edition of "everyday man raps" like Little Brother & Early Kanye. It's fine, it's what gathered a lot of casual listeners (I was a big one since I hoped he'd evolve further) but he's been at an average medium of whether he can't pull off the strongest points of what Kenny or Drake bring to the table.

    Tldr--he's not offensively bad but neither something impressive, I just let him be.

    Cole is encouraging those who are addicts to talk with others about their problems and seek mental health. He doesn’t want non violent drug users locked in a cage. He still smokes and drinks himself. His whole crew does. He has railed heavily against the war on drugs and the prison industrial complex his whole career. If you’re an addict he wants you to seek help.

    Go watch the crooked smile video. Go listen to all his mixtapes and albums and read and watch old interviews of his. He railed against corporate greed on his last album.

    You’re off on policies that have passed and have been proposed by the GOP my friend. Republicans in Washington are for corporate tax cuts, which screw over working class folks, shipping jobs overseas, locking people up for drug use, and militarism of cops. Cole is against all those things. @joeyp363
