    Idk, there's a distinctly J Cole nu R&B hooks meets kinda throwback rapping style. Kinda like Nas cosplay over D'Angelo beats. He does like chasing waves though. Usually he aims higher than these generation Z flows that have been done to death already.

    Nah i feel that is just his nasal voice masking the fact he's literally followed better artists in their footsteps and only knows to make albums as a reaction to what's poppin in the zeitgeist
