Messaged the guy at the listening party and he said

- the beat is amazing
- flow is fine, fast at some parts
- Eminem is angry
- his verse is basically saying that he is sick of people slating his s---, and they need to show more respect to one of the greats, and stop underappreciating him
- on par with Chloraseptic Remix
- 100% recorded post-Revival
-he was mindblown at how good it was and it blew Royce’s verse and Logic’s Remix verse out of the water lol

This is what one of the guys said after one listen so take it with a pinch of salt. But it sounds v promising

• raping your mom in the a---
• a fat ugly whor- fing--ing herself to gay p---.
• spitting into people's onion rings

Among other things. Why is "poop" such a big deal lol?

People really exaggerate some of Em’s cringey s--- whilst completely dismissing all his great writing. No other artists gets scrutinised for his bars as much as Eminem does.

There are a fair few cringey puns/examples of lazy writing on Revival (other than Recovery probably his worst for that) but then you’ve got the genius s--- like Believe, Castle & Arose; Chloraseptic & Untouchable has a lot of really slick writing too. A lot of great writing on other tracks, regardless of the issues of delivery/production etc

It’s like everything has to be perfect from him, and then when it is, no one appreciates it because it’s Eminem and that’s just his standard.

Plus not every bar has to have a meaning & be perfect etc. That’s impossible lol

Like I’ve literally seen people dismiss Bad Guy’s 4th verse solely because of the clogged toilet/talking s--- line. Imagine that

If you don’t think the the writing on Arose/Believe (esp. third verse) is that of an incredible lyricist then...lmao
