Removing artist sxns

    Its risky but maybe killing Em sxn would be for the better. I feel like some people may avoid the forum on the basis that think its an eminem forum primarily, and everyone knows stans s---.

    I don't think this is a good idea. Music would just be a huge mixed stew of things and people would have a hard time finding thread pertaining to stuff they're interested in and Eminemsxn would flood everything and just yuck not good

    i said no before because there's no logical rationale to the idea. and there still isn't in my opinion, but i'd like for you to walk us through how that could possibly change things for the better? here's my opposition:

    - it'll be cluttered...nobody wants to scroll through 10 eminem threads (or other artists, for that matter) before finding a thread discussing the latest Thugger discussion
    - it won't increase activity...it'll deter people from contributing if they can't easily jump to the content they're interested in, resulting in the opposite
    - it'd be change just for the sake of making change
    - there'd be no coordination, no grouping -- it'd just be a chaotic hotchpotch pool of discussion...there's a reason why the reddits of the internet have sections. it'd be the equivalent of having a gym class & a politics class taking place in the same classroom at the same time.
    - i get that you want to open the exposure of artist that people might not otherwise look at, but some (most) people just simply aren't interested in everything. we have the sidebar which highlights what's going on already without forcing it down people's throats.

    we're no doubt down on activity, but this would be the antithesis of incentivising growth & discussion imo.

    I still use it like a grandpa clicking on sxns I like and not using any of that other s--- lol

    It’s a good idea rn. You will drive all discussion into one section instead of fragmented communities. We don’t have enough active users to sustain six seperate discussion communities.

    plus a thread directory up at the top of the page so everyone can just jump to whatever they're looking for. that we we can technically have like 30 sxns

    well..obviously if it doesnt work out we can return the sxns and mass move threads based on words using the batch tool...but imo its worth trying out since we legit tried everything else

    also, i suggest removing current prefix and using artist prefix...will make it easier
