May 19, 2018 No you brain dead idiot. It’s not “fact.” Chicago is not an island. 60% of the guns found on crime scenes in Chicago originate from outside of Chicago. Guns flow into the city from neighboring states with more lax gun laws.
May 19, 2018 I wonder if neolibs like @Enigma are even aware that the gun control movement in this country begins with the southern Democrat Ku Klux Klan trying to disarm black people. Ironically, your implicit goal is to disarm (primarily) law-abiding white people.
May 19, 2018 this was absolutely hilarious to hear about and i'm laughing irl now @ ur s--- hole of a country. if thats a problem with you, should have thought about that before you made all those racist comments towards Aussies, s--- breathe ameriguns.
May 19, 2018 highly unlikely. Why would someone who is known for not abiding by the law, be trusted enough to make an illegal transaction without f---ing it up? lmao kid will be like "heres 300 bucks wheres my gun" and get punched in the head for his money
May 19, 2018 can't fault this, it'd be better than gun control at this point. with all these people holding the mindset of basically "it is my right" it's going to be a long grind to get to a point where gun control works. Training teachers/students to be more mindful of their peers/students would probably be a much faster form of progress. I think adding mental health to school curriculum's would be a huge step towards that.
May 19, 2018 if trump can somehow sign a treaty with NK, SK, China, and Japan, then why the f--- can’t every media outlet come together and agree not to show shooters face and name publicly? Here’s my solution, - stop showing shooter on tv - armed guard at every school - metal detecters - parents held accountable for not securing firearms at home - having an active shooter alarm in every school, as there seems to be someone always pulling the fire alarm and people don’t know whether to run or hide - all day training seminar for every teacher what to do if there’s a shooter - get rid of the no gun zones
May 19, 2018 I want to go too. Maybe after we can have Coco come here and take him on a school shooting tour
May 19, 2018 That'd be fun. We could show him where all the black ppl live and hit up the local liquor store, gun store and McDonald's since they're right next to each other
May 19, 2018 You’re right that the average white boy is going to just get robbed after getting the money out in the hood. But if there’s a demand for something, there’s always going to be a supplier. Usually everyone knows that “friend” in school that has connects. Pass the money to him and the trusted kid from the hood goes and grabs the gun for the kid. And there’s dumb enough street dealers out there to sell guns to kids.
May 19, 2018 Hey @dna hits you going to respond to this or wait until the next school shooting thread to repeat the same bs?
May 19, 2018 Whether they come from Chicago, Illinois, or a neighboring state, They are still being illegally obtained. The question becomes how many of your “60%” were originally purchased legally, and later sold to someone who then brought it to Chicago or sold it to someone in Chicago? It sure as h--- ain’t 60%. And if someone purchased a gun in a neighboring state knowing they were selling/giving it to someone else, that is a straw purchase and illegal. Before you legislate more laws, they need to figure out how to enforce our current laws we have. So you have approximately 30,000 gun deaths a year with two thirds of those being suicides. 400 of those remaining 10,000 deaths are from any type of rifle not just an AR15. Also, keep in mind that those 10,000 are not only murders, but also include justified homicide and accidental shootings. Now consider that there are approximately 50,000 to 250,000 self defense uses with a firearm per year.
May 19, 2018 First off. I’m not finished with you over the Cohen situation. You know d--- well the real intention behind those raids. Personal attack on trumps character. And my response is what @Krazee D said basically. You punk.
May 19, 2018 This premise is wrong. Not all of the guns in that 60%is a direct link from lax gun law states to Chicago. They go around the country & eventually land in Chicago. When there is a demand in any type of market (in this case black market) & the supply is plentiful (over 300 million guns circulating the U.S.), it doesn’t matter what local laws you enact. There are no state borders, firearms are going to flow in. The fact that a vast majority of states: (a) don’t require background checks for private firearm sales & ( b) don’t punish gun owners for not reporting their stolen/lost firearms (400,000 lost/stolen firearms every year), only worsens this issue. Fact of the matter is, a vast majority (like probably 85+%) of firearms used in crimes in the U.S. were manufactured here & was once upon a time, a legal firearm that was stolen/lost/sold & thus put into the streets. Not entirely true. This is only the case if someone is purchasing a firearm for someone else KNOWING that the other person can’t legally purchase a firearm. If you don’t know, it wouldn’t be considered an illegal straw purchase. In most states gun owners can sell/gift/hand their firearms to whoever with no background check needed. That is part of the problem. If we want to effectively enforce current gun laws, we need the gun laws to be consistent everywhere. We need to stop prohibiting the ATF from doing it’s job & allowing them to track firearms & maintain a data base of firearms sold in this country. We need to enact very basic safety nets to insure gun owners are being responsible with their firearms. As for gun deaths in the U.S., there are 11,726 firearm homicides in the U.S. every year. Far more than any other developed country.
May 19, 2018 No it’s not. You’re piggy backing off a poster’s response who’s much smarter than you. You’re a senile old man who’s scared of his own shadow.
May 19, 2018 didnt read this thread but i saw some dumb f--- at reddit saying the place he was in forbid buying guns or some s--- like that...we been through this before...it has to be forbidden country wide...taking an hour drive to buy a gun is literally as easy as walking to the near supermarket i dont get why anyone anywhere having this debate, its a proven fact that country with gun control has way less shootouts but go ahead and keep having this useless debate
