May 27, 2018i think Jamaica will offer more from their culture (not just weed but yeah do that too) dont know much about Curacao but from the little ive gathered i think it's more of a paradise island as in the atmosphere is very harmonic since there are very few tourist and the water is very crystal clear (prolly cool to scuba dive in), the beaches is pretty much untouched/clean. The two will give a completley different experience from one another but i would go for Jamaica and if i would want to go to a paradise island but like when im 50 i would choose one of the islands around Madagascar like le Réunion. Either way none will disappoint you

Can't talk about Curacao as I've never been there, but Jamaica is a poor country (as are pretty much all vacation spots in the Caribbean) and you're pretty much advised to not leave the resort besides doing tourist group s---. I did one night all drunk and I was okay. I made friends with the bartenders (must do) by giving them a big tip when I got there and they gave me all of the safe places to go. But generally I just stayed at the resort. I did a waterfall tour which was cool, you get to swim in the waters there and go on a tour of where Bob Marley lived...and obviously drink along the way. Also like most islands they have ATV tours and jet skis. I would honestly never go to a place in the caribbean without it being all inclusive. It's so worth it to wake up and have food that's already paid for, swim up to a pool bar where you don't need cash (besides tipping) and not worrying about getting sick from the water. A plus about being American, is that most of the Europeans/Canadians don't tip, so they take extra care of usOrdinary Joel, Jimelej and Michael Myers like this.Nov 17, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -
