    There was once a time we used to say he didn't play as good for Portugal because he wasn't getting paid as much as he was in real Madrid/Manchester United .
    Now all of a sudden he decided to become good... Smh

    Just some thoughts on the Brazil game yesterday; I saw Switzerland impress vs Spain some weeks ago, their compactness disrupted Brazil's flow and Behrami was excellent in man-marking Neymar. The rest of the Brazilians got to step up if he isn't having a comfortable game, outside maybe Coutinho the rest of them were poor. The "favorites" are gonna have to earn this trophy, I'm already liking this World Cup than the last two.

    This one is gonna be a very narrow game, outside of Son & Forsberg someone gotta step up

    I dont know man, we will have to have this conversation after he retires...when he was 18 he was an X factor with Figo, Rui Costa @ Euro 2002 and then clutch World Cup 2004...sure he doesn't play like that every game but more times than not he comes through in qualifying + big games...considering the fact he does it at the highest level of club soccer too

    Last euro he saved Portugal against Hungary...beat Wales...scored in penalty shot against Poland...if I review his career there soo many examples...

    I remember him scoring a clutch sick header against Petr Chech in a euro

    Messi/Ronaldo are just unreal....they should play together to end their career LOL

    Congrats @Jimelej , would be nuts if you guys can defeat Germany :wow5:

    Time for consistent bottlers Belgium to finally shake that reputation off, rooting for Panama but I'll truly be stunned if they come out with a point in this. The key is to stifle Belgium's back 3 when they play out from the back, I don't think Panama will try that though, thinking they will be sitting back to absorb pressure and pray to Fantasma Torres to spearhead a counter.

    Thanks! Feels great! Felt like it was an obvious win for us until the last minute, suddenly every player acted like they had run a marathon each.. The game against Germany will be a tough one no doubt esp now when Germany knows that they must defeat us.. one thing for sure is that they cant play like they did today, they need to go harder like they did during the qualifications. They still have that game against Germany from 2012 when they turned 4-0 to 4-4 in Berlin in the back of their head so that will definitely push them.

    I was never a fan of it since it doesn't represent the actual quality of the teams but yeah considering it's been years I haven't checked it, this definitely caught me by surprise lol.

    Damnit, this isn't gonna end well for Panama. Great goal, Mertens' transformation these past 3 years has been so unexpected
