he's not tho. the majority opinion is that a flawed man lost his life and it's decent to be empathetic at this time.

The "he's a piece of s--- who deserves death" and "he's a hero" arguments are both in the small minority. You can appreciate the good in someone despite them being bad in areas. It's really not complicated man.

If this guy is the guy the youth idolizes then our youth has another major problem

Theyre the small majority because hes a major artist who just died. If he was a nobody everyone would say good riddance. In a few weeks no one will care.

Sure he did a few good things but in no way does any positive he did outweigh all of the negatives, which are a lot

MAybe, they separate the person from the music like any reasonable music listener should. Supporting a dude's music doesnt mean you support his actions. It means you can relate to a cettain aspect of it that can help you through a diffcult situation or you just enjoy the way the music makes you feel. Nobody in this thread assumes --- was jesus or even a relatively good person, but, it seems like he was trying to change his life and was shot in the chest befor he could fully embrace that change. At the end of this day, this is tragic because somebody who couldn't even drink legally is dead because somebody wanted a f---in bag.

Don’t gimme that “oh you can’t compare them they’re so artistically different” they’re basically in the same vein (Kurt beat Courtney Love regularly = X’s woman beating) except X’s music better compensated for it.

X’s music is also a lot more revolutionary that Nirvana’s. Sure grunge was a big thing but where is it now? X’s music on the other hand will last forever trust me bro
